Race Face Evolve Fr Bottom Bracket

The SRX bottom bracket uses two 32 count bearings rather than three 48 count like the rest of the Race Face Evolve BBs to keep the cost down.

All Evolve Series BB's feature slide on cartridge bearings with full ball construction. These are lighter, stiffer and feature a higher load carrying capacity than the typical one-piece cartridge bearings. And with twice as many balls per bearing as the competitors, these bottom brackets spin smoother and last longer. To further enhance performance Race Face uses their own proprietary grease formula. This increases the bearing life up to four times.

The Evolve XC BB uses the lighter M15 spindle and in intended for cross country riding.

The Evolve FR BB uses the stronger M12 spindle and is intended for riders that want the strength of a DH BB but want to use a triple chain ring setup instead of a chainguide.

New for 2005, the Evolve XC from Race Face adopts the X-Type external bearing system, placing the bottom bracket bearings outside the BB shell for better durability. The massively oversize integrated spindle provides strength and stiffness for cross-country riders. You also get 3mm of left/right chainline adjustment.

The Evolve XC includes 7075 aluminum chainrings for increased impact strength, and feature patented SHIFT technology for fast upshifts.
